Hawaii voters have until Wednesday at 4:30 p.m. to cure deficient ballot envelopes to ensure their 2024 General Election votes are counted. When opting for mail-in ballots, voters must sign the return envelope for verification. If a signature is missing or cannot be verified, a letter with an affidavit form is mailed. Election workers have been contacting voters since mid-October to resolve submission issues.
Thousands of deficient ballot submissions still need to be resolved statewide, according to election officials. Voters can check their ballot status online at Hawaii.BallotTrax.net or by contacting their county clerk’s elections division.
