Grinches in Long Beach have a change of heart, return stolen vintage Christmas decorations

Two thieves in Long Beach who were caught on camera stealing Christmas decorations from a photography business have had a change of heart. The pair were seen taking vintage blow molds from F/8 Studios Long Beach, but after the video of the theft went viral, they returned the decorations.

The woman involved in the theft tearfully apologized to the business owner, Michael Farmer, explaining that she wanted to provide a Christmas experience for her daughter. She was shamed by friends and neighbors after the video was aired on ABC7.

Despite filing a police report initially, Farmer decided not to press charges after speaking with the woman and hearing her apology. He was moved by her desire to give her daughter a nice Christmas, and offered a free Santa Experience photoshoot for the girl at his studio.

Farmer, who was raised in poverty, said he could empathize with wanting to provide for your children. The incident serves as a reminder of the power of social media to hold people accountable for their actions.

The stolen decorations have been returned, and the Grinch-like thieves have seemingly had a change of heart.
