Authorities release updated image of suspect in UnitedHealthcare CEO Brian Thompson’s murder case.

The NYPD has released a new image showing the face of a suspect in the shooting death of UnitedHealthcare CEO Brian Thompson. The manhunt is ongoing, with police gathering new clues and deploying drones and dogs in their search. The suspect remains at large, and investigators are working to determine his identity.

The shooting, which took place early Wednesday in Manhattan, appears to have been a targeted attack. Clues discovered include a cell phone, video footage of the suspect, and shell casings with cryptic messages found at the scene. Police believe the suspect stayed at a hostel on the Upper West Side.

Thompson was shot by a man in black with his face covered, who then fled the scene on an e-bike. Thompson’s widow mentioned that her husband had received threats, but the motives behind the attack remain unclear.

The killing of Thompson has sent shockwaves through the corporate world, with corporate security heads re-evaluating their security measures in the wake of the incident. UnitedHealthcare, a branch of UnitedHealth Group, insures millions of people with private health coverage in the United States.

As of Thursday, no arrests have been made in the case, and a $10,000 reward has been offered for information leading to the suspect’s capture. Thompson is survived by his wife and two sons.
