Beloved community leader, Edward K. Keoho Sr., passed away at the age of 81 on Aug. 23, 2024. Ed served in the U.S. Army and the Kauai Police Department, dedicating his life to service. He was a passionate advocate for fellow veterans and a devoted family man. Ed is survived by his children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and siblings. A memorial service will be held on Dec. 28, 2024, at the Kauai Veterans Center in Lihue.
Gary John Simao, a computer web designer from Honolulu, passed away at the age of 74 on Oct. 13, 2024. He is survived by his brother, sisters, nephews, niece, and grandnephews. The family has requested private services to be held at a later date. Borthwick Mortuary Honolulu assisted with arrangements. Both Ed Keoho Sr. and Gary John Simao will be dearly missed by all who knew them.
