Hawaii’s sports station recently announced the winners of the 2024 Cover2 Awards, recognizing outstanding high school football players in the state. The ceremony honored athletes in various categories, with notable winners including Jaron-Keawe Sagapolutele as Player of the Year, Titan Lacaden as Offensive Player of the Year, Aiden Manutai as Defensive Player of the Year, Malakai Lee as Lineman of the Year, Kaimana Carvalho as Special Teams Player of the Year, and Tana Togafau-Tavui as Two-Way Player of the Year.
In addition, Coach Brad Uemoto of Konawaena was named Coach of the Year. The awards highlighted the dedication, skill, and talent of these young athletes and their coaches in the competitive high school football scene in Hawaii.
