Hobby Lobby’s David Green founded the company in 1970 but no longer owns it, as he gave away ownership in 2022 to support ministries and Christian causes. The misinformation in the social media post has been debunked by fact-checking organizations like PolitiFact and Reuters, and photos, resumes, and basic biographical details clearly show that the two David Greens are not the same person.
