Priscilla Diana Ruiz, a beloved resident of Kekaha, passed away on October 14, 2024, in St. George, Utah at the age of 78. Born on August 5, 1946, in Waimea, Priscilla was known for her work as an environmental protection specialist for the U.S. Department of the Navy.
She is survived by her husband Guy Ruiz Sr., daughter Elena, son Guy Jr., grandson Alexander, sister Isabell, brother-in-law James, sister-in-law Carol, and numerous nieces and nephews. Priscilla was preceded in death by her parents, siblings, sister-in-law, and brother-in-law.
Family and friends are invited to a memorial service on Saturday, December 7, 2024, at St. Theresa Church. Visitation will be held from 10 to 11 a.m., followed by a eulogy from 11 to 11:30 a.m., and prayers from 11:30 a.m. to noon.
Priscilla’s legacy will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her. Her dedication to environmental protection and her kindness towards others will be remembered fondly.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to a charity of their choice in Priscilla’s memory. She will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her.
