After being sidelined for over a month and a half due to a concussion, Tua Tagovailoa returned to the field for his first NFL game on Sunday. The Miami Dolphins quarterback completed 28 of 38 passes for 234 yards, a touchdown, and no interceptions against the Arizona Cardinals. Despite his strong performance, the Dolphins lost 28-27 on a walk-off field goal. Tagovailoa expressed feeling healthy and like himself after the game.
Other players with ties to Hawaii also made an impact in Week 8 of the NFL. DeForest Buckner of the Indianapolis Colts returned from injured reserve and recorded three tackles, including a sack.
