Oahu’s Elections Division has begun mailing out ballot packets for the 2024 General Election. Registered voters who signed up for BallotTrax will receive notifications when their ballot has been sent and should expect to receive it by Friday. Drop boxes for completed ballots are available 24/7 at various locations until 7 p.m. on Election Day, November 5. It is important for ballots to be received, not just postmarked, by the deadline in order to be counted.
Election officials advise mailing in completed ballots by October 28 or dropping them off at designated drop boxes afterwards. For those needing to register to vote or for accessible in-person voting, four Voter Service Centers have been set up by the City and County of Honolulu. These centers are located at Honolulu Hale, Kapolei Hale, Kaneohe District Park, and George Fred Wright Wahiawa District Park. Online voter registration is also available for Oahu residents.
The General Election on November 5 is fast approaching, and voters are encouraged to take advantage of the various options available to ensure their voices are heard. Information on drop box locations, Voter Service Centers, and registration can be found on the City and County of Honolulu’s website. Make your vote count in the 2024 General Election by participating in the democratic process.
