New Arrivals Welcome in Kauai: Local Families Celebrate New Life
Kauai, HI – The heartwarming atmosphere at local hospitals has been electrified with joy as several families welcomed new members into their homes this September. On September 17, 2024, Gerilyn and Isaac Kinzie celebrated the birth of their son, Keawe Kinzie, who weighed 6 pounds at the Kauai Veterans Memorial Hospital.
Following shortly after, on September 23, new parents Jassy Lou Oligo and Charman Leoiki-Soto welcomed their son, Colton Dennis Kamuelakukuiamauikaponohanohano Soto, who arrived weighing 8 pounds. Also at the Kauai Veterans Memorial Hospital, Kamalei Ah Yuen and Joseph Bento Jr. introduced their newborn, Lawakua Kekia‘iokahili Bento, tipping the scales at 7 pounds, 11 ounces.
The same day brought further excitement as Glenn and Daezsa Tomas-Tamagawa welcomed their second child, a son named Chance Tadashi Kala‘ikea‘ali‘ikupono Tomas-Tamagawa, who weighed in at an impressive 8 pounds, 12.7 ounces. The family celebrated this joyful occasion at Wilcox Medical Center, marking a special day for them as Mrs. Tomas-Tamagawa (formerly Daezsa Tomas) cherished the arrival of their new baby boy.
