UC Riverside took an early lead with a goal from Audrey Stewart in the 32nd minute, putting the Highlanders ahead 1-0 at halftime. However, Hawaii fought back in the second half with goals from Cate Sheahan in the 61st minute and Nalani Damacion in the 86th minute to secure the win.
