In a game marked by turnovers and missed opportunities, the Los Angeles Rams emerged victorious over the Las Vegas Raiders with a 20-15 win. The Rams defense forced four turnovers by Raiders quarterback Gardner Minshew, including a fumble returned for a touchdown by Kam Curl.
Kyren Williams rushed for two touchdowns for the Rams, who improved to a 2-4 record on the season. Matthew Stafford passed for 154 yards in the win, helping the team snap a two-game losing streak.
The Raiders struggled to find the end zone, settling for five field goals by Daniel Carlson. Minshew, who replaced the injured Aidan O’Connell, passed for 154 yards and connected with tight end Brock Bowers for 10 catches.
The victory marked the Rams’ third consecutive win over the Raiders since they returned to Los Angeles. Despite the loss, the Raiders have now dropped three straight games.
Injuries were a significant factor in the game, with O’Connell leaving the game with a hand injury and Bryant suffering an elbow injury for the Raiders. Cooper Kupp missed his fourth consecutive game for the Rams with a lingering injury.
Looking ahead, the Raiders will host the Kansas City Chiefs next Sunday, while the Rams will take on the Minnesota Vikings on Thursday night. The win was a much-needed boost for the Rams as they continue to navigate a challenging start to the season under head coach Sean McVay.
