Associate head coach Chris Brown emphasized the importance of community support, stating that when the team wins, the whole community wins. Players also expressed their gratitude for the fans, finding motivation and fuel in the support they receive.
The event served as one of the final public appearances for the University of Hawaii football team before fall camp begins. The upcoming season opener against Delaware State on August 24 is eagerly anticipated, and the players are motivated by the community’s backing.
